Stanislav Secrieru

Stanislav Secrieru is National Security Advisor to the President of the Republic of Moldova. Prior he was a Senior Analyst at the European Union Institute for Security Studies (2018-2023) where he covered Russia and the EU’s eastern neighbourhood. Stanislav also was a Senior Research Fellow at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (2014-2016) and a Policy Analyst at the Open Society European Policy Institute in Brussels (2016-2017). He was visiting fellow at the NATO Defence College in Rome (2006), the Institute for European Politics in Berlin (2009-2010) and the New Europe College in Bucharest (2011-2012). He worked for the European Council on Foreign Relations on research projects addressing political and security developments in EU’s eastern neighbourhood (2007-2009). Stanislav holds a PhD from the National School of Political Science and Public Administration in Bucharest.
